Still Here

Sorry for the lack of a post but as I’m sure everybody else (in the U.S.A.) is experiencing right now things are a little hectic. I’ve continued trying to get things ready for winter and we are pretty close. I want to do the front brakes on the Bronco and it needs some new tires but then I think we’ll be ready for winter. I fixed the brakes on the Jeep a couple weeks ago and it’s like a new vehicle so that’s nice.

Cayse got some bad news last week. PAC (Pullman Athletic Club) where she works now is closing. Evidently the owner is unhappy that they aren’t making a profit yet even though it’s been open less than a year… Anyhow, she has applied to several other jobs one of which she is particularly excited about even though it isn’t training. We’re trying to figure out a way for her to at least continue teaching her classes.

Now for good news and something that makes everybody happy…

Puppies! Jo is doing good. She’s actually significantly larger than in this picture. Her and spot don’t fit in the kennel at the same time very well anymore but Jo still makes it happen. I have a few faildog pictures I want to submit. I’ll get more recent pictures up once I get them off the camera. Needless to say she is doing very well and has been a great addition. Since I put up the invisible fence Spot hasn’t left the property and knows exactly where he can and cannot go. Jo follows him but has just started straying slightly so we’ll see if she starts needing to learn to respect the boundaries (ie get her own collar) sometime soon.
